You also can cook dried beans from scratch.
Yeah. I love my Instant Pot. I love being able to cook dried beans quickly in it. And beef stew. And other things.
But I have never cooked rice in it, because whenever I want rice, the Instant Pot is already being used to cook the beans, or the beef stew or the curry or the chilli or the what-the-fucking-ever-I-am-cooking-that-goes-with-rice.

Because you are cooking the thing that you want rice with, in the Instant pot
