Jennifer Ehle looks so much like Meryl Streep.

FLW is the superior film. Though in both cases the books they're based on are so much better (obv)

Depends if it is a remake of the film or making the book into a film.
They are quite different stories.

the worry is always that the remake will include simon fucking pegg and no one needs that.

"In the company of men" is a tough watch but worth it.

The upcoming version is expected to stay more faithful to the source
material. The cast has not been set yet.

I started watching The Stand remake but it was a bit dull and not as good as the tv version with dodgy special effects.

Enjoyed Host, proper Saturday night horror.

Made the mistake of putting Skylines on Netflix last night, aliens and sci-fi and explosions are normally my thing, and there was the hope of some kind of nissan smashing things up. It was shit, thankfully I was a bit pissed and full of Chinese take away so slept through a fair chunk, my wife and mother assure me it isn't worth catching up on.

Sound of Metal with Riz Ahmed. Fantastic in every aspect. Riz is fast becoming my favourite actor.

Feels super weird seeing him become such an accomplished globally renowned actor. he's in absolutely everything (and an amazing actor to boot).
