  • I honestly don't know. We can't go in and see the vets right now (literally pick up / drop off in the car park) and we're currently isolating whilst I wait for a covid test result.

    For now, we'll carry on with renal food and monitor his health. He seems to be behaving normally right now but we'll be super sensitive to it of course.

  • It tends to be more of a genetic thing. One of ours has it but we caught it very early - so early that it never shows up on his bloodwork. It is manageable. 5+ years and still going strong.

  • One of ours when I was growing up was the same. She was 19 when she died.

    Fingers crossed he's got plenty of years left.
