MVDP’s ride on Sunday will live longest in the memory for me. It’s not even mid March and we’ve already seen some phenomenal things from him. I hope he can keep it going through to Flanders and Roubaix but surely he’s going to start tailing off soon?
In the classics it looks like a slugging match between WVA and MVDP and in the Tour between Pogacar and Primoz with JA potentially providing a bit of extra spice. There'll presumably be a bit more competition in Giro and Vuelta.
Hard to say who was most impressive at Tirreno. This season is going to be good.
