• It must be a political decision if it is the countries' leaders/ministers (politicians) that have made the decision, and not the medical bodies (WHO, EMA etc), right? It's just that it seems such an alien notion to make such a political decision. Whether it's anti-Britain or not, it feels like there must have been an element of "well, France are doing X" or "we don't want our voting citizens to think we are putting them in harm's way".

    I wonder if it could be modeled to show how many lives were lost by pausing the vaccine roll out when it is confirmed there was no risk. Not that that will help anyone, but if I were in opposition, it's what I would be doing.
