Yes, definitely. It’s very hilly around here in Plumstead. I manage it at the moment with a regular cargo but it’s hard.

e-assist with a child (in London) is a safety thing too, if you can get a 'headstart' on the cunt behind you in Nissan its great, it feels safe.

Yes, I can appreciate that. It's just unfortunate that it doubles the price.

Thinking of going for a ti omnium with this batch of pre-orders providing its possible to negotiate the Brexit associated problems.
Might downsize to a mini-max as I rarely ride loaded at max weight for long period la of time... Can anyone who has ridden both briefly explain the differences in handling etc. + can you still store the mini-max up on its nose?
-
• #6182
The current Classic Minimax can be stored on its nose.
As the fork length and height as well as the dimensions of the front rack seem to be identical on the Wifi and the Ti, this should apply to them too. -

I'm moving flat soon and thinking why not do it carbon neutrél by Cargo bike? I have nothing else to do
With that in mind are there any recommended spots for hiring a cargo bike? London Green Cycles and carryme.org.uk/ both look good

Seen this Bullitt for sale here in Dublin and trying to see if I can justify it https://www.adverts.ie/road-bikes/larry-vs-harry-bullitt-cargobike-for-sale-updated-price/22767832
Does anybody have any thoughts on the damage at the front and if it would be a deal breaker? I haven't gone to see the bike yet but trying to over the next few days.
Thanks

Check it’s straight. If you can, check the headtube angle is correct. It’s an alloy frame and it’ll be difficult to put right if those dents are from a front-ender which has bent the frame.

The upper dent at picture 5 concerns me the most, being horizontal and at the same height as the transverse beam. You can expect a crack at this location if it hasn’t already
It is interesting if you have the tools to weld aluminum, otherwise I would look for a different one.

As @Jonny69 says, photo 5 that big long gouge with a hair line in it already is gonna be your failure point.
A skilled alloy metal fab person can fix that, they'd cut out/drill out the damage, relief it, weld it and then plate over it most likely.
On most long johns that front bulkhead is the area that picks up most battle scars, worth it for new riders/when your precious is brand new, to wrap it in inner tube, or if you cut some old road tyres up and zip tie them over the leading edge, prevents damage during those first few self inflicted crashs -

Weird question, but I saw a picture of someone’s omnium with a little pair of crocs on the kickstand’s feet, anyone know where they got them? Should I just buy some baby crocs? If anyone knows the picture also let me know

Can I interest you in buying London Bridge?

This is excellent! Would love one if you're going into production

Thanks Tjabo,
that's really complimentary
I'm currently ironing out the kinks and will be looking to build some sale bikes shortly. I've got a website waiting to be built so for now following the insta is the best course of action.

Its honestly so good, you know when a bike geo is correct when you can jump on it and feel at home within literal seconds. Can't wait to see more of these knocking about the place!

Just finished building this up. Rear wheel is a placeholder while I order spokes and saddle will be swapped, but other than that and fenders, it's pretty much complete.
Big thanks to Matias (unsure of user name) with helping us get the frames.

Do you really need the e-assist?
