Sorry.
Mine are 451 (concealed springs) and they’re not for sale. 🙂Good luck and commiserations for attempting Tout Mavic completion

Thanks for letting me know :) it won’t be a real tout mavic build though. I already compromised on the brake levers and got these modolo ones:
The seatpost will be a stronglight as it’s a quill-type. Other than that I already have some mavic cosmics, 631 cranks, 851 rear mech, 840fd and simplex shifters. It’ll go on a nice fillet-brazed 653 frame with an artsy broggio paintjob. The build will be somewhat similar to this vitus.

That’s going to look great on that frame.
Quill seat post, God bless the French!
Cinelli Oyster or Modolo equipe stem
😉Here’s my Tout Mavic (later 631/2 etc)

Cheers! Yours looks spot on with the yellow decals. How come the rims aren’t mavic? Or are they? One would think that’s one of the easier parts, no?

Forgotten you’d put a Mavic sticker on the TT. You tart.

You tart
It matches my water bottle.
😂I actually have Mavic fork decals too but went with the Cougar ones

They’re Open Pro.
I was going to use Open 4cd but I hate the way they wear in.
I had some lush SSC tubular rims but I never got them built and they’re sold now. I also have a GP4 /571 wheelset for this bike. -

Ah, I didn’t recognise them as open pros. I can confirm the sentiment towards the open 4cds...

Nearly bought that when it was on ebay! but postage put me off annoyingly

Are these the tiny ones? If so, I have some good Modulos I'd sell.
-

Do you have a photo? I wouldn’t say they’re tiny compared to the 451s.

I made the seller an informal offer and when there weren’t any bids (to my surprise) I got it for the reserve price. Shipping to Germany was probably a bit cheaper, too. I’ve always liked those french artisanal frames with those huge fillets.
Edit: sorted now.
I’m looking for a pair of Mavic 440 Brakes for a Project.
Since they are pretty rare and in fact just re-branded Modolo Brakes, I’d also consider silver Modolo or Sachs New Success Brakes which are identical in construction. Postage to Germany required. Looking forward to hear from you :)
