I have a Gordon Smith GS2 with 2 humbuckers. I always play with split coil on a Fender Princeton, I just prefer single coil sound, but I've never quite been happy with the split coil sound.
I don't know anything about pickups, what single coil sounding options are there which fit in a humbucker cavity?
