Shit. Hope it's not too bad.

Has Ewan changed his sprint? He doesn’t seem to rub his nose on the front tyre these days.
-

I think he's said that he rubs his nose on the front tyre when he's got clear space in front of him.
Much tighter margins of winning than he's used to at the moment. -

Damaged his right hand or wrist in a crash.

Has tweeted that he landed on his head but is ok

Yes, just came to post this.

Thanks, turbo time. Hope it heals fully, and soon.

Sounds like a concussion is the main issue. No mention of broken bones. I think the tv pictures were ultimately misleading as TGH was off the back of the group seemingly checking out his hand/wrist.

Good that he got off his bike quickly, then. If it doesn't have any lasting effect, perhaps he'll be in action again soon.

Hope Tao heals well and soon. Was wondering a few days ago about his helmet being so far on the back of his head, would that be dangerous in case of a crash. Can't imagine that hasn't been looked into by ineos though.

Kirby notifying the viewer who to watch in the sprint, lame. On the 5mins highlights eurosport vid

Team Sky really need to stop falling off bikes. Pretty unmarginal gains to be had there

I don’t think it’s too far back, I think it’s undersized. He’s been wearing tiny helmets for years.

Dunno how accurate it is, but I wouldn't have guessed mvdp would have been paid less than some of these guys

Flippin ’eck, Pog!
I understand Alpecin is a rung below UAE, Ineos, even Jumbo in terms of budget. I’d have thought Bernal would have negotiated more than that after 2019 TdF.

The budget of the top 3 employers here is a bit higher that Alpecin Fenix's, I'm guessing. 5 million for Pogi, wow indeed.
-
• #31573
Also I don't think it includes his 1 mln contract with canyon, the cyclocross fees or the zwift deal.
-
• #31574
Alaflip would certainly be able to make more with a top french team, but he'd lose the wolfpack extra's. There's few riders winning races after leaving dqs.

I'm pretty sure Canyon are contributing to his salary. His Oakley deal is 6 figures on top however.
So have we resolved whether Wout is a sprinter that pretends to be a climber yet?
