Cancellara dropping Boonen on the Muur in 2011 (?) was possibly the most ridiculous show of strength I’d witnessed before MVDP last Saturday.
Edit: it was 2010.

2010 - yeah my favourite moment in cycling. Both of them in National Champions Jerseys, clear of the rest of the field and in top form. Cancellara ends up winning by 2 minutes or so, the gap he pulls out in 15 seconds is ridiculous. His Roubaix win the following week is similarly nuts.
