Isn't it a nightmare to ship something from Europe to Britain right now?

For us here in Europe not really. You need to fill out the CN 23 form, yes, but that's about it. Prices for shipping have doubled, but that doesn't mean it's more work. I shipped two or three times to the UK post Brexit and can't say I had any trouble.
