  • also... personally I have had a 34" 3440x1440 monitor for almost 5 years and it's perfect. I don't understand why anyone would want a 49" panel with the same number of pixels as it doesn't increase your screen real-estate, will increase motion blur and has to be more likely to get accidentally damaged. Perhaps I'm missing something though

  • Don’t the 49s have 5120 on the horizontal?

  • 5,120 x 1,440 though, no?

  • Agree with that for general use. I'd only go for the larger screen at that res for the the sake of gaming.

    @TW that's a 32:9 resolution rather than ultrawide which is 21:9.

  • 34" 3440x1440 - 109 PPI
    49" 5120x1440 - 108 PPI

    I can see what you mean - must be devastating to lose that 1 PPI. Like looking through vaseline. :)
