  • Bathroom nearly done, I just have to decorate and get a shelf built.
Utility room side is a bit of an issue. The floor slopes down towards the bathroom (so the dividing wall is the lowest point) and the floorboards are in much worse condition than expected, as are the walls which have gone back to brick in some places.

Any suggestions for quick and easy floor fixes? The joists are a nightmare as are the planks, both all over the shop and I'm not convinced I can get them all up from out under some of the walls.
I was thinking building the floor up with a few layers of thin ply, maybe 3x9mm on one side and only 1x9mm on the other (that top layer would span the whole floor obvs) and screwed into existing boards.

I know removing all boards and then doing it properly would be best but not sure I have the time for that as I will have to do a fair walk of joist sorting.

Final floor will be cork tiles obvs.
