The times count for GFA, according to their FAQs.

I've entered the virtual London Marathon. It's a bit daft seeing as my longest run in recent memory is 13 miles, and I can't really be bothered to do a load of training, but hey ho, I need a new tshirt.
How many months to get fit? I seem to remember my old training plans lasting around 16 weeks.
I don't think I'll have a crack at sub 3 unless something miraculous happens between now and then, but I might try to improve on my 3:10 PB. Might being the operative word here
