OK thanks for confirming, sorry to have doubted you - was led a astray by a chat with someone else on-here.
OK they’re spaced the same as bottle cages. Seems obvious, just fretting.

Ass Savers Fendor Bendor - trimmed at the sides so as not to rub the seat stay and bolted to the underside of the seatstay bridge.

It would be nice to have a (cheapish) bag on here to carry a jacket, food, phone etc.
I just bought a couple from planet x that I'm going to return so what would you recommend? Thanks

Anyone used a Restrap canister bag? Thinking about getting one for the grrl's road bike for overnighters.

Thanks for that! Much obliged.

Funnily enough I just ordered one of these and a top tube bag.
I'd ordered a Planet x frame bag but returning as the Velcro straps didn't really work on standard steel tubing. Not enough of the hook part of the Velcro to bite and no adjustability on the strap. Quite odd as it ruined an otherwise OK for the money bag.

I find this problem with a lot of bags, I have a Topeak one that conveniently allows the head tube and down tube straps to be removed, and therefore replaced by something better (double sided velcro roll) but the top tube straps are huge and not v flexible so wrapping round a steel frame gives pretty shit results

Yes if they had separate straps through a molle type loop that would be much better. Building to a price I guess. The handlebar bag I ordered did have separate straps however. I'll see how the lifeline ones are and report back.

I'm very impressed - looked at all the artisinal and main brand stuff but no-one was selling something waterproof that would fit in my triangle, even the 'small' ones. Either everyone has XL frames or they expect you to not have a water bottle on the down tube.
Here it is, on a Small Arkose.

Thanks for the pic. Looks like it will do the job.

These are the ones, but I've heard the planet x ones are a decent replacement when these are out of stock.

Yes I'd already bought the Planet x one. Which I can confirm is OK for £10. The Straps are all replaceable/ not fixed on. Thermal lining, waterproof outer and an elastic lower strap.

Lifeline frame bag was tested out today. Very nice for the price. It carried a multi tool, jacket, sarnie, couple of bars and my phone. Totally waterproof and very secure.

Anyone have an idea when the Decathlon bike packing range might drop, supposed to be out before summer?

They told me May but that could be in France. If you ask them on social media (I asked on IG) they reply
Confirmed for Fyxation and ENVE fork. Would be interested to know who's made them with a different spacing.
