Rough early sketch of what we might do to our inglenook and really wanted one of these inside and outside window benches so went for that

Like that a lot, but the beam in your "now" pic looks original? You can't remove that if so!

Also, thought that chair was a Rob Parry for a second, that would have really weirded me out as have one in my living room, obviously.
