I reckon in a sample size of about a dozen users in my wider cycling circle, the Vector 3 users hate/have warrantied/are trying to sell their pedals, the Assioma users cite predictable, unexciting consistency.

PS anybody have dual sided Assioma's for sale?
-
• #9854
And the Assioma take Keo cleats?
-
• #9855
Yes, not quite as well as Xpedo but close enough I gather.

I’m tempted to take a punt on the IQ2s at $299 for dual sided power but something is telling me to play it safe and stick with what I know which is another P2M.

They're forever away from being complete. I'll flog you mine for cost IF they ever arrive as since I ordered them years ago I've bought other power meters.

Absolutely do not. Might as well just enjoy burning it.

SRAM bought Powertap so they could kill hub based powermeters.

I'm hanging on to my vintage G3. Gonna make a fortune of retro grouch hipster TT power types.

Great. Best get my P1’s serviced pronto before they kill support.

i have 3s and have had no problems thus far. have been running them since fall last year on my primary roadie. don't like the cleats as much as shimano but other than that they've been faultless.

Nearly 2000w! Wow
-
• #9868
Pffff - I know cat 1 riders who are about 4.9 W/kg. Admittedly they can’t put out 2000w.

I bought the Vector 3's, my assumption (!) is that they'll be more reliable having had 3ish years of fixes than the 4's, which will be new to market.
Watch as I eat my words...

How many Tdf stages have they won?
-
• #9871
Yeah, for a roadie, and a GT-riding roadie at that, it's mental.

TBH, the ones I got with the fixed battery door have been fine. The first ones were made of very soft cheese.
-
• #9873
Just to add on the Vector 3 comments, I got a dual side one and except few battery issues that were fixed after a new battery door they have been rock solid. 2 years in use, no need for warranty.

How many £5 primes has Kittel won, eh?

His FTP regardless of weight is pretty elite at 430w.
I don't think his 3s power at 1940w, though really impressive is what his talents were at.His average power (in the sampled sprints) for 15s was 1383w, with a max 15s sprint of 1602w.
I can do about 1000w for 15s (though 25kg less than Kittel) but probably couldn't even make it to the end of a grand tour stage, let alone 21 of them.

Hmmm, that's not great. My 2's have been fine (single sided though, which maybe reduces possibility of issues).
