Yeah you've pretty much nailed it there.
I was looking at an open chimney I guess rather than a wood burner if that makes any difference?
@Velocio without diving too deep I guess it comes down to do I need A to achieve task B, there are also questions around whether Task B is even needed but that's a whole other discussion.
