@Regal that sector dial is super nice, it's not trying hard, it just is. No nonsense, cool vintage vibes.
I can only speak from my experience, the BigEye was superb, the movement felt very smooth and it was definitely much better quality than say my Sinn 103 at a similar price point (2nd hand). The new Longines Spirit are great and 2nd hand can be picked up for less than £1k. I think that is incredible value.
My friend had his LLD serviced few months ago and the watch came back with a little speck of dust on the dial - Longines took it back and sorted it out, no questions asked. Very reasonably priced service too.

I'm waiting to see that in the flesh myself , ordered just not arrived you.
I do have one of those sector dialled 3 hands though.

If someone started collecting a brand, you cant go wrong with Longines at the moment.
