Just got a clever dripper to give it whirl over the V60. Mainly because the misses is not invested enough in the process to make a good one and the clever seemed a good compromise considering the "just dump the water in" part of the methodology.
Very impressed. It can do 500ml no worries and if you forget about it, still tastes good like a long brewed French press. Quick clean up and not needing bloom/ pour slowly makes it much easier than the V60. It's basically a French press without the faff off grinds going everywhere. Plus you can buy the filters in normal shops.
Win win win I think.
