It's a really nice sink, just too big for the space we have under the stairs
-
• #43362
That looks a hell of a lot nicer in your pic than on the site.

Thanks!
I’m going to have to book and pay for them myself so still working that one out.
-
• #43365
Thanks, that sounds like good advice.
Unfortunately I don't currently have the details of the seller's solicitors, but I guess I could ask my solicitor for that?
The seller's crap solicitors don't have law in the title, standards must be slipping.

I think either the agent or my solicitor ‘accidentally’ quoted them in an email chain when forwarding it to me.
-
• #43367
Looking good Chris. Shame
They’ll be getting the bad google reviews though.....😒🤪 -
• #43368
The agent included the name and job title of the probate solicitor in an email, so obviously I googled him and found the place. I reckon they're using the same solicitors for conveyancing but no details.
Will try and get hold of the agent tomorrow and see if we can get anything out of them.

Only!
You’ve spoken a bit about some more DIY plans with the new place but are you planning on going TMH level reno again?
-
• #43372
I can’t bring myself to do it now! The staff I met were so nice and helpful plus they gave me two tiles for free just in case I needed them!
@Fox I had your “authenticity in materials” in my head the whole time, it was painful but feel I would be letting the neighbours down if I did otherwise.
@rogan cheers buddy! If your bathrooms 120x60 I have a couple of tiles you can have for free! Oh and congrats on getting your stuff sorted, sounded a real nightmare at quite a few points.

Well, yes. But don't know how realistic that will be on our budget. TBC.
If we actually ever exchange I'll probably start a thread because I have many thoughts and there's a lot to do!

Good architecture is all about pain.

Thanks, what’s the distance from the rear corner to the front of the sink. Looks like it’ll fit but just wanted to check...
The issue is trying to get the solicitor to pick the phone up or reply to an email to see what kind of timeline a revised offer is. Meh
