Im 58 and had a lot of quite decent cars , a confirmed petrol head .
I drove a BMW I3 yesterday .
So quick to 30mph , genuinely fast , comfy , well put together .
I had a bet with a friend of mine about 10 years ago that in my lifetime I wouldnt be buying an electric car .. bet is lost .
For a second car , or with planning and time an only car , I can’t argue that this isn’t the future .
When you listen to what VW and the major manufacturers are thinking going forward I think 2030 for cease of manufacture is pessimistic.
Im sure i read in Sweden 60% of new cars are BEV.
Times are a changing , time is for charging
