Thanks, I’m either at -17 or -6, so I guess that’ll be OK. There is an adjustable variant.

Ooft $60 seems steep for shipping. But overall a good saving over the pipedream fork.

Have one of those and it's quite nice, just make sure you use washers as the aluminium is pretty soft. Only word of warning is that if you have a Wahoo the mounting puck is 90 degrees compared to a Garmin, meaning it uses the same holes that you would want to use underneath for the GoPro mount. I've solved that problem by getting https://www.wiggle.co.uk/prime-computer-mount-gopro-interface as it has screw holes in both orientations.
Having said the aluminium is soft, that's not to say it isn't sturdy though, no problem at all with mine, even with a GoPro and a light mounted underneath via a twin bracket.
As seager mentions, it also depends on the stem angle, but as long as you don't have anything too crazy going on should be fine. The adjustable variant adds one pivot which might loosen/move so I'd be inclined to avoid unless necessary.

I paid $140 with shipping (Shipping to Switzerland was $35). I think that fork gets sold under a few brand names (as do their frames).

I have this mount and used for past few years. It works really well and I found that it is much easier to read the computer as it is fairly forward, closer to where you normally scan the road. I think my stem is 8 degrees and it makes the computer parallel to the ground.

So, just as I’d given up on the wheels arriving, a courier turned up and here they are. They’re really tidy.
There was no request for fees from the courier or import tax etc - does this mean there won’t be any or is that a surprise to await?
-
• #8883
Nice! I'd assume that means you've got away with it... prob so much chaos going on they couldn't be arsed!

who was the shipping agent... i got something (mtb fork) shipped from the US and i thought i'd got away with no fees/import duty etc... then i received my bill in the post 2 weeks later... FedEx were my couriers....

It looks like they were actually imported into Holland and then onwards (thankfully before the end of December) in which case they may have been viewed as NL to GB so nothing to pay?
They were also indicated as $150 (they were more than that but not a huge amount).
They are very tidy, beautifully and safely packed, couple of spare spikes and even with rim tape fitted. Tyres went on easily, will fit a cassette tomorrow and see how they shape up on the bike

Plenty of torque on the lockring. This isn’t a Shimano freehub body and those scars are for life :)
-
• #8887
Good tip, will use my lockdown body advantage to ensure that the lock ring is properly on

They look great. Very tempted myself now. Are they 38mm depth?
-
• #8892
Yes, 38mm deep (so look really clean with 48mm tubes) and 27mm wide.
Haven’t used them yet but the quality looks really good - the 3K twill finish (you just say you want this at checkout, as well as no logos) is neat and uniform, hubs are smooth and neatly applied rim tape and a couple of spare spikes were included.
I’m not sure how much they weigh - I’m going to say not incredibly light but that’s not an issue for me, indeed would be wary if superlight at this price

Matita24 has used his so would be the chap to ask.
I paid £223.03 although current exchange rate makes it look more like £211

Oooft - I've been looking to get a cheap set of wheels as winter/training wheels so I can continue to keep my zipps in a vacuum untouched...
Did you go for clincher or tubeless rim?
-
• #8897
Clinchers

I didn't made a tons of km on mine and only a couple of time in light rain but still they roll good , free hub have a nice clicky noise, still straight as when they arrived and i cannot see any flex. the only thing i would change on mine is that i should have ordered the glossy instead of matte. Mine didn't came with rim tape thought. For the money they are a good buy and they look bling

Those look good. I was all set on an alloy build but these have me thinking... How are they holding up? Will need to find the page in English
I had one delivered a month ago but as it's winter I don't really ride my bike at the moment. Hadn't really thought about the angle of my stem, so I might never get to use it.
