  • Sorry, sarcasm did not come across clearly. When I see them they are driven by teens in tracksuit trousers with no plates on.

  • This weekend’s recommended product are these luggage fences:

  • Will fit to any boot board I reckon, they just clip on.

  • Like hugo said, anything 40+ years is historic and mot/tax/ulez exempt. I'd love a proper old mini but non-fucked ones are getting very expensive

  • Dont know if any of these are under 3 grand these days. Maybe a battered civic

  • A respectable FN2 Type R should definitely be doable for £3k I reckon?

  • Tough to find one that hasn’t been hammered tho!

  • Hmm, pre-Brexit these were ~€70, but they're quite a lot more now.

Anyway, grab the part number and see what you can find, they're excellent from an effectiveness perspective.

  • This is for sale now, if anyone is interested.

Clio 182 with both optional cup packs

  • How much?

  • Anything under £5k seems to have 150k+ on the clock. Type R would fit my demographic tho

  • only ever heard good things about those clios. GLWS!

  • This looks perfect. If I had somewhere to keep it I'd buy it from you in a heartbeat.

Hopefully it goes to a loving home, unlike my old one which apparently failed it's MOT after I sold it and hasn't been on the road since. Low mileage, both cup packs and Trophy Recaros. RIP.

  • Link doesn’t work for me. But alas, €70 is probably a bit rich for me for now. What’s their actual name?

  • Does this mean you bought the e36 m3?

I’d love the Clio but have nowhere near the means for it! Fond memories of getting my sister’s (very basic, non-sport but of similar age) Clio sideways when borrowing it to get to work when I was 17. Amazed I never put it in a ditch!

  • It would appear that a generic name for them is "Fixierset", entertainingly, and the ones I have are the Mercedes version. Telescopic fixierset also brings back some results.

  • A lot of them seem to be designed for fixed rails in the boot, the ones I have just clip onto the wooden board that forms the boot floor.

  • How much?

    +1

    {+2}

  • That would suit my e46, but my googling of Telescopic fixierset seems to be failing me!

  • Managed to get it off by finding a YT which said;

    handbrake off
    put in two bolts loose
hit with rubber mallet from the back

Got a link for the YT video?

  • shades of Peugeot 406

Both from the house of Pininfarina no?

  • Sorry folks I forgot to add the price. it's £3000.

    More details here:
    2004 Clio 182 FF
    Titanium Silver
    MOT until 27th November 2021
    74,000 miles on the clock
FF with aero cup pack and 60mm hubs
Extensive service history with all stamps up to 67,000 miles - and plenty of receipts for parts thereafter.
The only modification to this car from standard is the Cooksport springs
Nice clean interior, incredibly fresh with just the standard drivers bolster wear (pictured - and sorry it’s not clean, I didn’t expect to be selling this car at all)
    Servicing / upkeep
    Major service / Belt information
10 months until you have to replace the Aux belt (3 year interval)
2 years and 10 months before you have to replace the cam belt & defacer (5 year interval)
    Last 6 months
    New front brake callipers
Fresh panel filter for standard airbox
    4x Pirelli Pzero tyres
Brand new exhaust (standard spec - perfect level of noise in my opinion)
Non precious metal CAT installed (MOT safe)
Coolant flush and new header tank
    Rear Lambda sensor
    New brake fluid
    Powerflex rear exhaust rubbers
    Last year
New fluids throughout (oil/brake & even power steering)
    NGK spark plugs
    4x new injectors
    New rear hubs
Front and rear discs and pads
    Front wheel bearings
    Battery
    Power steering pressure sensor
Fuel filler cap area taken back to bare metal, rust proofed, painted and undersealed
    Bad bits
Spongy brake pedal - the breaks need bled properly. I was planning to do this but have been putting it off due to the poor weather - still powerful enough for an MOT pass. (this occasionally causes the ABS light to show on the dash)
EML on and reading as a new Lambda sensor required in position 1 (car still runs as smooth as always - it’s just happened in the last 2 week and again, bad weather has put me off)
Sadly some twat hit the passenger door pillar with a bottle when I was parked, I’ve photographed the damage - it’s a real shame. But Cliobreaker has mint Titanium Silver doors for £30 complete
The Bonnet is dented - aren’t they all.
    Included in the sale
Polybush dogbone rubbers and spare mount
    Hubcentric spacers 4x100 20mm
it’s located in Hackney, East London.

Edit: it's £3000 on the Clio group, but if you're on ere, and can take it within 2 weeks-we can negotiate.
