+1 Also up for a burner if there's another batch.

And another +1 if there is a 2nd batch.

I actually wore my first gen PT race cape yesterday with summer base inside, it was perfect.
Please dont cut the sleeves.

Received mine yesterday thank you so much G! Super excited to use it!

Used mine this morning with a thin long sleeve baselayer and Rapha winter jacket and didn't feel the cold at all across the chest. I normally have a long sleeve Roubaix jersey in lieu of the burner and find I end up overheat but this kept me just right.

I've only managed a couple of rides since I picked mine up a few weeks ago. I really rate it so far though, I can't believe how much warmth it keeps in for something so small! The quality is great as well. I can see it getting used a lot, especially in spring with cold starts but warmer days. I think this with arm and leg warmers will be ideal for changing temperatures.

Hi all .....so sorry for the silence, again, been concentrating on getting these final rounds done. The time vampires have been biting my ankles, not least Royal Mail's print-postage going down for 24hrs and a series of my payments for post going into a black hole.... hey-ho, some of you have lovely stamps.
Wehay; All paid orders were in the post Monday/yesterday, and just arranging the final local dropoff/collections (check your DM's if you mentioned local collection)
Anyone still outstanding, not confirmed order, not paid, I'll round up this coming weekend and message, but have to concentrate on other work for the rest of the week. Any orders that don't get confirmed, I'll bump to those who have expressed interest in 2nd batch :)
I think I did put in every order, but if anyone didn't receive face coverings (or has a big household!) let me know and I'll get some over.
Thanks to someone who suggested a running version - it's long been on my to-do list, and will be (hopefully!) getting one to the running coach at the Outrunners for their thoughts. Couple of other variants in mind too.....
Finally, just to iterate again/set expectations; they're a great winter addition, but would be a bit flimsy in this recent cold snap (think the running version would be great in sub-zero though). They'll really come into their own for changeable sprint/summer conditions - but use however & wherever you like!
All feedback welcome and appreciated - and feel free to tag/add me/Albion in any IG posts, always love to see them in the wild.

When I was making my DIY burners, which are in no way comparable to the weight and packability of yours, I was considering adding some sort of retention for wearing with looser MTB kit. Possibly a simple toggle-detachable neck cord, like an apron. I guess the design problem is: how could you still get all the benefits of a burner when you don’t wear any tight kit? I’ve got two of three riding buddies who are in this camp. I guess that’s a similar use case to a runner actually.

Had the same thoughts after using under a waterproof shell. It's great but maybe a little wider would help it be retained by bib straps when not wearing anything tight. Mine fell out and was lucky to catch it!

yes, was thinking a band of elastic tape w/ velcro tear-off tab; this would give some adjustability/flex, but also safety if you get it snagged (and easy to get off) .....sample coming when I get sec!
....hmmmm, maybe a retro-fit service?

Huge thank you to everyone who donated; I'm not going to whittle on here, but have just added a post in Unconditional Love For The Forum on the money raised. You are all beautiful people!

I don’t need it and love the simplicity of the item as it is. But I think that’d be a good addition for a baggy burner.

.....haha, trademark that! ....one is in work which will have more universal usage. Watch this space!

Received mine yesterday, thanks for the birthday present! :)
Will try it coming sunday, have a ride planned around Flanders Fields with a cold early start and temperature seems to be rising to about 15° in the afternoon. Should be spot on use case.

I never even considered doing that.
I mean, even knowing about it, I'm still not sure I'd consider doing it, given how much jackets cost. But for packability, especially since I often tend to race with arm sleeves on these days it might be something to consider.

I should have added that I most probably bought it at a staff sample sale for £25... and I had/have other jackets to wear.
Nowadays I'd just get a Shakedry, if it's all it's cracked up to be it should cover a larger range of uses and conditions than what was available even 5 years ago. -

Fantastic - happy birthday ;) Big relief these are arriving in Europe, was a little concerned by chatter on EU post delays/additional costs. Enjoy!

Finally, just to iterate again/set expectations; they're a great winter addition, but would be a bit flimsy in this recent cold snap
Why, I've successfully used mine in the zero degree rides (realfeel showed -7 C) of last weekend, over double merino baselayers and under an Alpha ROS jacket. It really removed the need for an additional gilet over the jacket, which was my go-to in that kind of tempratures, didn't do much and also blocked access to rear pockets of the jacket.

Fantastic, great to hear @disq :) and totally agree, I'd wear in preference of another full garment, and absolutely, all year round.
I think I'm a bit paranoid to set expectations, in that it is thin and light out the bag (as it's meant to be) and you couldn't put under a summer jersey and transform it into a deep winter product. ...I'm probably also being a bit cautious (jaded?!) after decades of magic marketing promises on commercial kit. Would rather under-promise and have people find their own way of using - including cat duvets.

Thanks for mine @Chopsicle I waited out the cold weather and then tested it on Monday when it was too hot, but luckily it was easy to remove and small to store.
Question - is there a technique for getting it into the little stuff pocked on the back? It seems quite small and your photo on the first post looked super neat. Also, is it bad to store it in the in the stuff pocket, providing it's dry when packed away?

First time I tried tucking it, i was going the wrong way into the pocket, so try tucking it the other way round (if that makes sense - so inside out sort of thing) and it's packs down neat and tiny. No skillz required.
@Chopsicle got mine yesterday, massive thanks for your efforts, great work and cheers to your bro too.
@Chopsicle appreciate you're busy churning these out for the first 100, is there likely to be a second / additional batch?
Readon I ask is I'm keen to test a slightly different use-case, which may open up a new audience for you. I run mostly and this would be ideal for cold morning backpack runs / commutes. My omm rotor vest keeps the chill off my front, but under a pack my back gets super-heated at the same time. The pack rub also increases wear n tear on the vest. The burner could solve this I reckon. As could a copy of the metro, but the burner would be much handier to have.
