  • That late wicket gives the day to India.
    Credit to Bumrah.

  • I was just thinking Sibley has to get off 87.
    Class from Roooooot

  • England's day; platform set by Root and Sibley, still need 500 odd after last time

  • Great watch
    Even Burns moment of madness

  • Just so we have all three possibilities...

I'd say that late wicket has evened up the day. England needs 500+, as you say and I reckon the wicket has significantly dented the chance of that.

Took too long to plumb in the TV in my office and missed most of it.

  • I spent a very enjoyable morning in the workshop with the cricket on the Mac, even tho I may have been slightly less productive than usual. I’m already looking forward to going to work tomorrow.

  • Managed to sort a double monitor in the classroom. Remote teaching on one, watching the cricket on the other.

I'll admit the remote teaching has one benefit

  • It's like being transported back 15 years, being able to watch a cricket highlights show with your evening meal.

  • Bumrah's yorker is so lethal

  • Stokes 6 is so beautiful

  • Morning all 🙃

  • Stokes is on another level man, box office

  • I’ve missed you Stokes! Sibley’s innings was textbook but this is something else.

  • Is the simulated crowd noise heard in the stadium, or added through the broadcast? Can the players hear it?

  • That first Indian review was comedy.

  • You can see Kohli losing his cool as the overs go by. The pitch has started to work for him now though.

  • Rooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooot

  • Two quality shots to bring his fifty from Stokes.

  • Marry me Ben

  • Good session I reckon

  • Bumrah's yorker is pretty tidy.

  • Why isn’t Moeen playing? Is he still suffering from the aftermath of Covid?

To my mind, he’s the best spinner we’ve got and obviously adds plenty with the bat.

  • FFS that's not very sensible.

  • TIL 82 off 118 is 'a little cameo'

  • I don’t mind him playing that shot in the circumstances. England need to move the score on and force India to work hard to restrict runs.

Having Pope and Buttler still to come makes it less of a blow.

England ideally want to get to 530+ and have a crack at India for 10 overs before the close.

Lol at Pujara nearly shelling that.
