  • There's obviously been quite a bit of talk about high-end record cleaning but what should I be looking at for the cheap end? The Spice Girls Greatest Hits album I bought the other week was covered in bits of crap fresh out of the packaging.

  • This is my "set up".
I hardly used the (expensive) Tonar Wetgoat brush.
The 2 black records airers were purchased from Analogue Seduction.
The most important tool is my paint pad (brand "Monarch" iirc, off Homebase) and those "superior" micro-fibre towels (Amazon).
The rack has been a big improvement (6 slots) too compared to having just those 2 airers.

I'm a total convert to cleaning my records and won't play nowadays a second-hand record unless it's been cleaned.
