Thanks everyone. Really, really happy with it. Can't complain for less than $200.

Sub $200 is superb value.
The SLA totally changes colour, it’s actually quite dark until you get it in direct sunlight.

blue Pelagos...
I think it’ll be a future classic, great colour and dial design, solid bezel click and decent bracelet. I’ve tried it on a few times but sadly I just don’t have the wrist size to pull it off, it looks like I pinched my Dads’ watch.

That does look huge, I thought 42mm wouldn’t be too bad. I have big ish wrists to be fair. The blue is killer.

Thanks all for the suggestions. Habring is interesting in the same small scale operations kind of vibe but the finish is a bit too much on the functional end of the scale. The Nomos is really cool and, bet it wears huge though. Be interesting to try one on somehow.

The big problem with Nomos is often how they wear. The long straight lugs can really mess up what ought to be a very easy wearing shape. Inchpincher and I both tried on a Lux Zikade once and as nice as it looked, putting it on the wrist was a “wtf” moment.
To be fair the Lambda actually has downturned lugs (this is innovative for Nomos) so might be much better but I imagine that the smaller gold 37mm version would wear the best of them.

Ooof... That's a beast!
And that dial colour... Hmmmmmmmmm

Much better than the original strap, for me I can't do black and brown combined. Only time id consider something like a brown strap is when you get to this stage:

Blue Pelagos is great.. Did they do blue in the earlier version with fewer lines of text? I think these were pre in-house movement. Lume dot by date window the only thing which was improved visually on later versions imo

They really need to release a green or red version.

I’ve never worn the OEM brown strap, it’s a nice strap but brown isn’t my thing.
