I loved my Michelin Power Endurance tyres, rolled well enough and lasted for ages. They've finally given up the ghost after about 8,000km of harsh winter conditions over two winters.
I couldn't find them in stock in 28mm anywhere in the UK though (available on the German websites but Brexit) so I've ordered some Bontrager R3s as a replacement which seem to have universally good reviews.
Looking for some advice here. Had a pair of 28mm Corsa Controls 1st gen on my bike for over a year and they were great. Never had a puncture (until they were knackered), used on gravel, lasted 8000km+ front and 4000 rear (had to change the rear as I never swapped front/rear).
Got myself a pair of Corsa Control G2.0 and already got more than a few punctures as well a collection of cuts and nicks. What the hell went wrong with Corsas?
Anyway, looking for recommendations for a nice and as-light-as-it's-reasonable winter tire that won't puncture as often. Thinking possibly Michelin Power Endurance (if they're still called Endurance, had Pro4s in the past and they were very good and very resilient) and had a look at Schwalbes, Gravel Kings slicks etc but open to suggestions. 28s only as I'm on rim brakes.
