• It all depends on the angle of your stem which for an untukt positions such a mine, it looks a little silly. Prefer my wahoo to be nice and flat with the road.

  • I had one delivered a month ago but as it's winter I don't really ride my bike at the moment. Hadn't really thought about the angle of my stem, so I might never get to use it.

  • Have one of those and it's quite nice, just make sure you use washers as the aluminium is pretty soft. Only word of warning is that if you have a Wahoo the mounting puck is 90 degrees compared to a Garmin, meaning it uses the same holes that you would want to use underneath for the GoPro mount. I've solved that problem by getting https://www.wiggle.co.uk/prime-computer-mount-gopro-interface as it has screw holes in both orientations.

Having said the aluminium is soft, that's not to say it isn't sturdy though, no problem at all with mine, even with a GoPro and a light mounted underneath via a twin bracket.

As seager mentions, it also depends on the stem angle, but as long as you don't have anything too crazy going on should be fine. The adjustable variant adds one pivot which might loosen/move so I'd be inclined to avoid unless necessary.

  • Probably too late for this reply to be of relevance. A lot depends on how heavy your device is. I've used similar mounts for mobile phones with the appropriate bracket but often found the mount has broken - but then smartphones are larger than bike computers
