• Where to start, I can only speak for myself here,Scotland hasn’t voted for a Tory government in 60 years yet we constantly have them imposed on us in an unequal Union. Labour took the Scots votes for granted and with every lurch to the right, abandoning their principles along the way, lost support.
Labour have become Tory light, not what they were founded as, look at the Labour benches in the unelected HoLs, a disgrace. We have no right to criticise government anywhere in the world while we still accept this anachronism.
Can anyone honestly say the name of the leaders of either of the 2 major opposition parties in Scotland without Googling? And no, Baroness Davidson is not the correct answer.
We had that clusterfuck Johnson arrive yesterday for a photo op, that went well , between him and the Beano character JRM referring to the first minister as moanalot, they are the best recruiters the SNP could hope for. Charles and Camilla arrived while he was positive with Covid at the start of the pandemic, entourage in tow, potentially infecting an entire community. The idiot son and Kate Middleton arrived not long back on a train wearing tartan scarves and a tartan dress, Hussar! Who is advising these people.
Brexit, Scotland voted against it as did Northern Ireland, despite the £1billion bung to the DUP, that’s not working out well either. Freedom of movement, been a great thing for years, gone.
No one should be forced to stay in an unhappy, unequal union, this one has had its day, time to move on.
    And breathe 😂

  • But more voted against Independence last time, do we just play this game of keeping voting for it until you get your own way.

I voted against brexit but it happened and thats what happens in a democratic vote you down always get what you want.

A part of me wants Scotland to become independent and when its a massive fuck up, if they produce another white paper like last time i'll be voting the same again. Right now its hard to believe the SNP could run a piss up in a brewery never mind run an independent country.

She should be concentrating more on sorting the pandemic and less on Indy 2.

  • But more voted against Independence last time, do we just play this game of keeping voting for it until you get your own way.

Yeah but that was on the basis Scotland were going to be part of the EU right?

    Sort of got shafted there.

  • run a piss up in a brewery

Organising a piss up in a brewery is not easy.

  • Every 4 years we have a general election in which many people change their minds so that argument doesn’t hold water.
By she I assume you mean Nicola Sturgeon, she won’t be there forever, and after independence vote for the party you think are best for the country, at the moment it’s the SNP but that won’t be forever either.
