Same here, always thrilled to find something that I didn't know before and sounds so nice on vinyl. I'm not a 'junkie' as in: spending loads of money on rare stuff and digging crates every weekend. Older music I don't have on vinyl I just keep streaming while on the look out for a bargain via second hand sources, no hurry.
When I setup my TT I initially did the same, looked for all my favourite records on vinyl, was shocked at the cost, and spent days contemplating spending £60-100 a pop on near mint copies.
But after a while I came to the same realisation as you and ended up just getting stuff I've not heard before. The main benefit of vinyl to me is that buying physical media makes me search for music, while streaming just leads me to lazily put on the same stuff over and over.
