True Utility keytool. Has a bottle opener, pry tool, file and a few other things.
Coast mini torch at work all the time and out of work during winter months.
Svord Peasant knife, Xmas present that replaced my previous Vitorinox Alox I lost recently. I'll make a couple of mods to this when I get a minute.

Soet out the blade as its fairly agricultural at the mo.
Remove the pointy end of the handle rh side in pic above.
Saw someone had cut the extended tang into a flat head screwdriver too. -

Dremel’d my phone number onto one of my larger keys yesterday, bit of Christmas inspiration.

Nice one, I like a knife mod.
I might have a go myself.

Just received one of these little AAA Sofirn C01. This one's ultimately meant for the garden shed keys for locking up in the dark as it's the non-"s". I'm waiting on a C01s that I bought via Aliexpress, a while ago which is meant to replace my knockoff* Hugsby XP-1 for my motorbike pack.
Pic for size difference.
It's a really nice little light. I only occasionally dabble in torch geekery, so can't give an in depth review. But from a quick play in the cupboard it gives off a warm, comfortable light.
What I like:
- feels quality (seals, anodizing, etc)
- size
- price
- light tone
- design features (slots in the bottom for a magnet and tritium, reversible/removable clip
I also got a SP40 which isn't exactly EDC, but if you want a headtorch and/or decent more powerful torch grab one. It's fucking great and a steel at <£25. (someone else's review here)
*when I bought it I didn't actually realise it was a branded light, I just wanted something small and cheap.

Ledlenser P7R which was my firearms issue tactical torch. I had to put an O ring covered by inner tube on it as the thing would slide forward when pushing the button with my thumb. Always in my hi Viz jacket pocket.

Where did you buy the SP40 from? Direct or somewhere else? How was shipping? Cheers
-

Direct.
Wish I hadn't bothered with Ali for the C01s as it's still not here.
Go on the site to get a exact quote, but iirc it was in the in the £3 range no customs or anything.
The shipping is why I got the little standard C01 as I thought I'd use it at some point. Plus the shorter 18350 batteries.
You should be able to find a discount code fairly easily too. I'll check the box in case I have one.
It's fantastic value.

Cheers, I keep thinking I should get another torch when I find myself using my bike light for everything (admittedly it is very bright).

I did offer but they didn't want it. They had the uniform, the asp and the cuffs but I was told I could keep the helmet, cap, Leatherman and torch. Oh and my original wooden truncheon. Oh and another oh, I pay tax too : )

Only reason really use a wallet anymore is for the zipped pocket of bits n pieces

I know I'm repeating myself but it is good. And at the price it's unbelievable.
There are also a number of K options. I went for the 5500k as I thought it would get most use tidying up in the garden/slaying slugs and working on my bike/motorbike in the dark. For the later I assumed a "pure" light would be better. If I still trekked I'd probably go for something more comfortable.
The only downsides I can see are; 1. Funny batteries, 2. Non-standard light orientation. Neither of these are issues for me but ymmv.

Bit embarrassed to say I'm shopping for a briefcase... My MW Vandal only lasted a few weeks before I got fed up with not being able to pluck what I needed out of it easily... Been using a Canopy Brewery tote since 2019 but I've outgrown that and it's starting to look a bit threadbare so need something a bit more fit for purpose...
I did see a really nice and not too expensive North Face briefcase/laptop thing a few months back, I thought I'd go back to the store for a look tomorrow but it isn't on their website and I can't find anything that looks remotely like it online anywhere, very puzzling...
What I need... Roomy enough for a 15" laptop, a folio/pad holder thing, my glasses cases, would be great if it'd take my lunch box as well... Not leather or vinyl, nylon or cordura would be good... Any ideas?
I feel so bourgeois... 🤢
Oh, and I don't want it to turn into a fucking backpack... Shoulder strap is fine... I think I'm after a technical briefcase... ðŸ¤

Can’t help but wanted to share I was very upset when I found out that a briefcase got its name from carrying legal briefs rather than y-fronts.
Ruined the whole thing for me.
You carry a pedal spanner on a day to day basis?
