  • I am grateful for the Nike SNKRS app, stops me from being able to buy anything

  • truly the ultimate moderator to my consumption. including the month long periods when I delete it in frustration.

  • I've had better luck with End raffles compared to snkrs.
    (1 vs 0)

  • End even worse for me - always presumed they get allocated less stock? feels like more potential for backdooring with End too being bricks and mortar.

  • Fukin around... Bobba...

  • Kinda like.

  • Oh my goodness.

  • Michelin mud.

  • Any recommended shoes/brands for folks with high midfeet (but normal arches)?

My feet are basically a bit tall in the middle, and long day's walks often leave the tops of my feet feeling bruised/sore, regardless of whether I'm wearing not-very-suitable things like Vans, 'proper' NB trainers, or Clarks trainer-boot thingys.

Not sure if that might not be some silly like over-tightening laces or not, or shoes fitting poorly some other way. Is there a foot-whisperer akin to a bike-fitter?!

  • I own a pair of Nike Cruzrone which I can recommend. They’re not going to get you much street cred but they’re comfortable AF.

If it’s really a concern you should look into getting some orthopaedic insoles.

  • Second child is on the way, so no street-cred concerns here..! Thanks!

  • Got these for birthday. Dry feet for running 🏃 and extra silly looking points

@jaw thanks for recommendation on these. 👍👍

  • In a bid to move away from my 'I wanna be 15 again' AF1s, I just got these. I'll need to wear them in so that they're less fresh white but I'm feeling good about the change so far.

Also, does anyone know someone who can fix trainer soles? I really object to buying new clothes but have worn through the above AF1s and they have air cavities in the heel that now act like mini suction cups any time I walk in the wet. I tried filling it in with a glue gun but that didn't work. So if anyone can replace a trainer sole that would sort me out.

  • I have never got round to it- mine go to the charity shop at that point - but I think Vibram can do it. Not cheap though. Also, currently closed due to lockdown: https://www.vibram.co.uk/LondonAcademy
