Yes, they’re basically R&M junior when it comes to ebikes. Completely fucked stock and price wise now though thanks to coronexit/brorona.

Anyone had a go on this? Saw it at balfe’s bikes up on the cut.
Cube dual hybrid
Not tried that one, but definitely worked with Cube quite a bit - QC issues and abysmal warranty support has me leery of recommending a cargobike by them.

Not just me then (although to be fair that was years ago).

But they had amazing wanty bikes with those orange ritchey stems!

For boxes on bullitts best value /size is the convoy products box, hinge is approx 15cm forward of the vertical so opens all the way. £700 when you get it with a bike, more on its own as shipping isn't free.
If your handy, mate of mine had made several and they are all in daily heavy use. Get yourself some touring instrument box parts (the edges that rivet together), alloy sheet or thin resin board, and for lid and lock use horsebox storage cupboard components, you can make an all singing box any size you like for £100 and prob two evenings work

The local fancy food delivery bullits have plastic 80x60 euro boxes on sideways.
The long way they have to be cut. There are lids.
Cost ca 40€.
Long way with cut looks like this:

Yup! Ideal for home use, can make your own cover.
But for actual delivery use needs a locking lid, even if it's not that tough in order to satisfy their insurances policy. -

Anyone got any experience with e-cargo? Looking to replace my car. Any recommendations?

Has a transformers vibe to it. Very cool.

Great spot - didn't know about them but the pricing is good and they look great.
The Dual battery option with Enviolo rear hub seem like a decent deal if you can get it on Cycle2Work or similar scheme.

yeah I was thinking to start with I may just get something like this

My partner is currently trying to rip off this design!

There are lids, and I think think there are locking ones available. Not very safe of course and probably not good enough for insurance.

Anyone had Enviolo/Harmony problems?
So after much slipping & unexpected cadence changes, the replacement hub came from Enviolo. This time it's the cargo version, (I still haven't found out why it was fitted with a 'Trekking' hub).
I had to make a small platform to go under the stand so I could get the back wheel out, which turned out to be a righ faf, having to break the chain as well. Anyway, I've laced it up with the old rim, spokes & nipples but it's been dark or snowing every time I've had time to fit/try it out.
I might get a chance to fit it this afternoon. Fingers crossed it works OK. If not I'm going to have to fork out for a manual controller conversion.

Take the front wheel off, and put weight on the front of the bike. Also make sure the rear tyre is flat and you’ll have loads of space :)
No need to break the chain either.
Same system for putting it back on, again with front wheel out and rear tyre flat, can just hook the chain over and slot the wheel in.

Has anyone found a good supplier for individual mudguards?
I’m particularly after rear, 20”, at least 65mm wide. Thanks!

found this: https://www.euroboxes.net
has all kinds and shapes. the options here - with some simple modifications - would probably do very well. there are variants with lids that are compatible with locks, even.

OMG, I can't believe I never thought of deflating the tyre.
Fitted the back wheel & after a bit of fettling it works! No weird unexpected cadence changes either. There is though a noise. Only pedaling to move, ie not in the stand. Sounds like the chain rubbing on the plastic sensor when I first fitted the wheel. If anyone has any ideas? -

I recaul trawling through several sites before I eventually decided I'd have to make my own box. Trouble for me was they're all euro size. I really needed something about 70cm wide to make use of the cargo area on UA

Ads keeps popping on my IG. As Long Johns go that model doesn't seem to have a particular USP...
That is a really good looking bike ^. [sigh, npf]
Is 49kg actually that much? I think my bare bike with alu frame weighs 25kg. Plywood box with frame is probably going to add 10-15kg. Motor assist and battery is going to add at least 5kg. That puts it pretty much in the same ballpark.
