• Yup, as @simba said, that’s a banger.

That used to belong to Euan, right?

  • Indeed, I bought the F&F, bags and drivetrain off him a few years back and this is it's current guise (and probably my favourite so far). Proper bit of kit.

  • Winter studded tyres are now on the On-One; Schwalbe Winter Spikes or something. Need to order some replacement spikes as I seem to have lost more than I remembered last winter. Will also put some ATAC's on soon as I'm planning a long weekend away with a friend next weekend and this is the bike that I won't mind (too much) if I stack it.

And in other news, @Cupcakes has kindly offered to lend me a wheelset so I can get the gravel bike built up without having to wait on the hubs.

  • did you have your pomp fork tweaked for that rack or bodge a solution?

    looks excellent

  • Yeah, a friend put some rack mounts on for me. A much better solution than the Wald basket that was on there before.

  • Nice little 100km with a friend today in the rain and wind has got me thinking that I would like to try drop bars on the Pomp. After all, it looks like I'll be using this for most of my winter miles so why not. Couldn't resist going full retro-grouch and ordering some Shimano BL-R400 levers and a Topeak frame pump.

  • That looks cracking!

  • Congratulations! All your other bikes are now redundant ;)

  • Ohh that’s nice! It instantly made me google salsa seatposts. Is that a regulator? It doesn’t look like ti

  • @frankenbike @veLLo @cupcakes Thanks folks!

@Simba Yes, it is a Regulator. I was a little surprised at how shiny it was when it arrived but it is ti.

  • Another shot.

  • Now I just need to wait for the salt on the roads to clear and for the travel restrictions to loosen and then I can really ride it.

Provisionally planning the “Double Divide” for May; The Badger Divide straight into The Second City Divide.

  • Very nice looking bicycle, excellent handlebar bag too.

  • Lovely. Looking forward to following along for the rides.
