I watched The Equalizer. Was good fun, didn't feel like it took itself too seriously and didn't scrimp on the ridiculous kills. Felt like Taken (but with a decent actor as the lead) with a soupçon of Home Alone.

Nice, glad you enjoyed it. As many people already mentioned the second one is also worth a watch and if I remember correctly plenty more ridiculous kills.
