Well I did buy the frame I was considering a couple of months back, an Elite SX in size shortass. For the moment it's built it up as a second bike with an old 9-speed Ultegra group and some leftover parts, a bike that I don't need to worry about.
Happy to say that it's got the 'momentum' feeling that I was looking for, which I'm sure will please @Sig_Arlecchino lacking in the last few steel frames I've owned.
