Smashed two discounted pies while out riding with Fox yesterday. Good ride fuel.

I want to give these a shout out. Up there with the best mince pies I have ever had. Currently reduced from something like 2.29 to 0.99 in our local Aldi

My Mum had a Saturday job there in the 60s. Served tea in Maison Berteaux during the day and waited tables at Ronnie Scott's and Tatty Bogles at night. /csb

@NorthLondonLight & myself stopped off at the Coop in the Texaco petrol station just across the Thames on the A4 at Taplow, a couple of weeks ago. They had (fresh) mince pies on sale.
I couldn't bring myself to buy any.

Funnily enough I just had my first mince pie tonight or final one from last year. First time we've seen my girlfriend's parents since this time last year. Christmas Dinner had been frozen when we cancelled and was brought back out tonight.
