Just ordered an SRPE63K1. The only other watch I own is a braun aw20, so first automatic. Wanted a small everyday watch and also something fairly affordable (managed to get for £160)

Hoping the dial is a fairly subtle sunburst, in some pics it looks a bit over the top, shall see.

Somewhere out there is a blog of a guy who printed his own dials on paper then lacquered over. Iirc he used Orients as the base watch.

Based on your bikes and posts I reckon you'd be able to do it.

My concern is being able to see the printing dots from something like a digital printer or even screen printing. Pad printing gives a certain “solid” clean effect to the ink. I’m going to have a real look at it though, the aftermarket parts available make it really simple to put a nice looking watch together.

Bought myself one of these before Christmas with mod parts from Namoki. Parts turned up quicker than the watch did which is impressive considering they're based in Singapore. Parts fitted by Tempusmods. Can't fault them!

Seriously impressed with the watch considering the price.
