I thought it was slow because it was leaking, but I topped it up and bled it earlier today, and have cycled the lever repeatedly since and it's refusing to leak.
I've got an entire Wolf Tooth cable replacement system, but I'll hold off fitting that if the hydraulic 1x remote is going to work.
