I hadn't been following that closely, but it had escaped my attention that Trump had commuted Stone and then subsequently pardoned him.
Break the law, and if it was in his name, you'll be pardoned. Unreal.

The bulk of his pardons have been for people who have committed crimes on his behalf or on behalf of his agenda (see Arpaio et al). One thing that the Capitol invasion seems to have done is temporarily derail his (rumoured) planned cascade of shameless pardons. Expect to see them in the near future, including pre-emptive self-pardons for him and family.

Just read the whole thing. Sitting here shaking my head. WTF have we come to? Really hope the legal bodies in the states can manage to shut this down properly
