People that have lots of disposable income so, to them, it's not that much at all in the grand scheme of things.
One of my neighbours (who's house hasn't been cut up into n flats like the one I live in) was discussing buying his eldest son a brand new car for passing his test. His justification was that it wasn't a huge amount of money as it was about half his monthly mortgage repayment. It's just his mortgage repayment is North of £20k/month.
I mean, I get that. This is straight to the golf chat thread but we probably have around £4.5k of disposable income a month (after mortgage, bills, food, pensions etc).
I would never consider spending a couple of hundred skin cream. Maybe my priorities are wrong??

Fuck me, that's more than three times as much disposable income as my actual income. I honestly wouldn't know what to do with that amount of money if I had it one month, let alone all of them.
