  • Nice and simple.

  • yeah it is a no-nonsense kind of bike. very reliable.

Im thinking a sub compact double up front soon though.

  • the highest form of flattery?

  • Sounds good to me. If that means redoing the bar tape I suggest tilting bars down a tad and moving levers up.

  • Headset installed. Just waiting on flat mount to post mount adapter to come and then It'll be ready to build up!

  • you eerrrrr......keeping that there steel segmented discbrake fork? you know....in a parts box? unloved?

someone could very well make use of it, just saying,

    not me!!! but someone

someone could get canti mounts put on it, and a rack mount, and have a mini barnacle fork,

  • What frame is this?

  • Only here for the Transition 🤩

(((would put black spacers above the headset)))

  • Well funny you should say that.

I'm planning on getting guard and rack mounts brazed on and I'm going to use it on the genesis.

The transition fork is ~250g lighter than the surly fork!!!

  • Silver are not staying. Just place holders right now!

    @mussulo transition rapture

  • That sounds like a good idea.
    Is it the same A-C?

  • The transition is the same a2c as the original CDF forks, 395mn. The surly is 400mm.

  • looking for forks?

I have two transition raptures in the shed...both with changed forks to carbon

  • Yes. Depends on your price obviously, but they look good and are often cheaper and less work than starting from scratch

  • 2007 called and wants there "fixie" road frame conversion back.

Great little town bike that has cost next me nothing to build.

Actually pretty fun to ride fixed again, may get a proper track frame at some point. But would rather spend bike money differently if this does the job.

  • i hope you're riding that in 3/4r legnth cargo shorts and a shrunk tshirt which barely touches the waist, maybe using a select slur to voice dissatisfaction

    would really sell it

  • 4/10

    Not your best work

    The frame is nice tho

  • You're telling me the navigator decals aren't a nice touch??!!

  • God I missed that trend by a few years, glad I did.

  • awful bike but if its the only fixie you got, what you gonna do?!

cant even say pub bike anymore ..

  • It literally is a "my first fixie" and I ain't even mad.

I just won't post any more pictures of it.

  • can you not please?

    thx

riding fixed is a lifestyle, embrace it, just dont share

  • I don't want the lifestyle, I just want the perception of a lifestyle.
