  • Looks great off the bracelet too.

  • I prefer the bracelet cause 1; it fit without adjustment and 2; workshop mean rubber/fabric strap get grubby quite quickly.

Very glad it’s easy to remove bracelet tho!

  • Still stuck on this.

  • I've always fancied one of those.

The black one is on my current list of watch wants.

  • Always fancy one, massive tho.

  • Haven’t had much of a chance to use this properly yet...

  • Destroying the evidence. Bought a funky 70’s Tissot bracelet, not sure it’s staying on this..!

  • At least the date is easy to read....

How long does it take for your brain to adjust for the time?

  • Speaking of beaters, mine has finally had to go in for a service today (usual watch guy won't touch it because it's Japanese - not sure why, he told me it was a long story). Still keeps good time but (perhaps due to the very cold northern Italian weather) it is occasionally stopping.

  • On a similar note today.
After owning this for just over a year now, I found that the latter half of 2020, although working from home I was wearing this less and less, worrying about desk diving marks and generally being a bit precious about it.
My resolution for 2021 is to wear the hell out of it and stop worrying as much.

the Bulova is also on my list to own. Would be nice to have a bunch of the watches that made it into space.

  • About half a day, usually

  • Digital for me

  • It’s certainly very comfortable for daily wear (with the added bonus that when I got it it was £100 less than the silver version)

  • Just remember, a Speedmaster is a tool watch. :)

  • Berlin resident here.
I bring my watches to die Uhrenmacherei on Kottbusser Damm.
3 brothers that all followed their Dad into the watchmaker business. Looks like a standard Berlin turkish jewellers but the guys always wear stuff like hulk's, sea dwellers and submariners with saudi swords it on it and always have interesting stuff in for repair.
Think their dad is Seiko guy though.
Never had them work on something expensive, but the two watches I got serviced there run very well.
Not saying to use them, but I would let them have a look and see how you feel about it.
Also that rolex is very beautiful!

  • Cheers =]
Casio is my favourite 5 letter watch manufacturer, second is seiko ;)

  • Oof, that's a belter too. What's the ref number on that one? (edit - got it, SBGA125.) I saw they brought back that dial texture on a limited edition GMT last year.

  • What’s going on with the 5 o’clock hour marker?

Edit. Is it reflection from underside of GMT hand?

  • Yeah. GS hands are ridiculously reflective (in a good, shiny way). Mirror like when it comes to light.

  • How do you find this overall?

I've always been curious about one.

  • Same, in fact it was asking 24h watches that got me here in the first place.

  • What do you guys think of this;
