I think the current Australian system suits Australia very well - they get UK doctors, engineers etc without the requirement to pay for their training.

good question. i assume that if i ever met one over here, they would rabbit on and fucking on about being from australia, so they should be easy to identify.

older article but very funny in hindsight:
President Trump will be our greatest ally after Brexit
Freed from ties to the EU, Britain can build a truly special relationship with this US presidentThe planned visit of the President of the United States, Donald Trump, to the United Kingdom in July is well-timed and of great importance. By then the European Union Withdrawal Bill ought to have passed into law and a mere three months of negotiations are scheduled to settle the terms of our departure.
However, this opportunity is dependent upon Mr Trump’s presidency. Without him the US would be offering no support for Brexit and would be seeking to frustrate it. He ought to be treated with every possible courtesy when he comes, both as befits the office he holds and in gratitude for his goodwill towards the nation of his mother’s birth.

Like Daniel Hannan's article where he said Hoxton will become the new silicon valley.

Doctor friends of mine say that the NHS has figured this out and is actively withholding the credential stamp it needs to give to allow doctors to practice in Aus/NZ (the most popular destinations).

this should at least dispel the rumour that there is an inner circle of donors getting advance tips to trade off Brexit announcements.
-

Any source on that?

And another child left without cannabis medicine thanks to Brexit.

I fear we may hear more of these sort of worrying repercussions. But, you know, we’ve taken back control, innit. Maybe Cod liver oil could be an alternative option for these poor kids.

And, obvs, we are ashamed of the might of GB...

It is frustrating because unless hard brexiters get on board and fess up, then ask everyone to talk the Dutch gov/Matt Hancock it's gonna be a tribal fight again I fear.
I read MH just blamed the Dutch government, hello, you guys lost the EU prescription access!
Chatting to Dutch people that know Dutch journos, perhaps somebody is willing to pick these stories up and the Dutch gov can work something out.
It's not good... and it's a specialist mix, smoking weed won't do it either, and the UK cannabis derived medication doesn't work for the cases.

"have you sampled the goods" lol.
I read some people don't want the Moderna vaccine, they want the AS one. Cos that one is developed in the UK (England mostly) but the other one is developed in Germany.
Oh boy. This sort of highly persistent stupidity put into people's heads kills.

Your thinking may be just slightly too pragmatic for the Tories to countenance, unfortunately :(

But like with any government it's not clear how much work they put in it.

Percy Pig has emerged as one of the first casualties of Brexit red tape, with Marks & Spencer warning that its famous pink sweets could be hit with new import taxes in Ireland.
-
• #28847
^ It is because they route Percy Pig sweets from Germany to GB I believe... If they directly import to ROI from Germany it is fine, but they ship out all their orders from GB so...
And leave.eu has had to change their domain registrar to Ireland... no surrender eh?

Hahah yeah classic.
I hold leave.eu style Brexiters in equal respect...
What Aussie in their right mind would want to move to the UK?!
