I tended to use S for bike races or water - getting different amounts of motion blur and P with whatever settings for static landscape stuff. I used to get way more creative with my little G3 but now I'm much more point and shoot.
I still need to find some kind of case/strap for it. So I'm unlikely to be taking any moving shots for a while.

@hippy the a6000 is great but the menu can be a little awkward, it's worth setting it up to shoot how you want before trying to adjust anything while on the bike. I like using the focus tracking and shutter speed priority when trying to take photos on the move.
