I know a rug dealer in Morocco who I can vouch for 100%. He's got an Instagram account and does a lot of distance selling to the USA mainly.
£500 would give you a lot of choice!

Send him a DM and I think he usually sends pictures on whatsapp. Say you got his details from Nick and Tanya.

Also has a lovely gaff in E17

Gonna message him as we ‘need’ a new rug

Do it! We have about 7 rugs from him now 🙄

Cheers for the link, they’ve got some nice stuff. Turns out mine and my wife’s taste in rugs has very little crossover, I stupidly thought this would be a fairly straightforward purchase :/

I'd like some light recommendations for above a kitchen island. Kitchen is a mixture of white, stainless, Birch and Cork. Above the kitchen table we have a foscarini o space.
I want to avoid anything too industrial, there are two separate wires hanging down currently so a pair of something will work or perhaps an above pool table rectangular light would be cool.

I like handandeye studio stuff - not sure if it pairs with the foscarini tho

Looking for some inspiration. Available storage space is on the walls where you'd normally have shelves but got quite a bit of crap that I wouldn't want on display on shelves (DIY stuff, wires, chargers, bike stuff, etc).
Any suggestions on alternatives to shelves/make things on shelves hidden but accessible? House is late Victorian with a fair few period features so that kind of style. Cheers

Is there enough space below where the shelves would go to have a dresser instead?
That's what people used to do for mixed display and hidden storage.

That’s four out of six gone - kids destroy these - to be fair they are old copies. I have an idea to replace the seat and back with bent ply - cold set 3 layers of 9mm birch ply in a male female former. A lot of work tho.

I have uninstalled but opened String shelving in my living room; why are you doing this to me?
-
• #574
Heh, based on my current workload I won't be able to make them until March.
Yes, I am on the forum.

Thanks but he doesn’t seem that cheap? He’s got a rug on there 290x180 for $1300. About the same from a European based reseller unless I am missing something?
