@jb000, good game. Closer than the last one, but felt like I was fighting to stay in the game from about 5/6 moves in. At one point I was sure I'd clawed it back to force a stalemate, but you out manoeuvred me again. Well played, I'll need to tidy up my middle game before challenging you again.

i have won two and lost one so far. still got one game on the go

^ the loss has been recorded by the tournament stats. Unlikely to be repeated in game 2 though, but if it did at 2 wins each would we all have to play again, or just pick straws?

That is what could happen in my group. There is some sort of tiebreak system but I don't know if it will split people in a group of three. In that case I think both go through and there is just a bigger final group. Not sure

yeah pretty sure the tiebreak system works so no more games are added. not sure of the exact mechanics though but based on rating score and that of the head to head games.

It is a bit of a slugfest, but feels like I'm bouncing off the ropes non-stop hoping to land a lucky knockout punch whilst you're striding confidently around the centre ring landing punches at will. Has been fun.

ha - it certainly doesn't feel that way to me. i think you instigated most of the brutal exchanges!

Has been only way I could view tournament, click into a tournament game of yours and it should be straightforward from there (android & chrome here fwiw)

I'm having to leave it a while. I think I'm cooked but there may be hope somewhere there that'll jump out at fresh eyes.
