I've been using Endura MT500 Overshoes IIs for a while & they've been alright.

EU dust clearance?
BS dust clearance - FTFY
-
• #15229
Singular uploaded DIAGRAMS which say the actual clearance at the expected widest point is 62mm so 2.1 should fit in there even with space for some mud.
Pipedream I dunno. It seems like it has even bigger clearances (probably a bit too much for me) more like a velo orange piolet.
If they made a Peregrine without all the beardy man bait (lugs, panelled paint job) and passed the savings along to me I would have bought one by now.

In terms of 50mm+ clearance frames that are not Sus corrected there's not too much out there (yet) so I would be willing to accept you thinking that I had a flexy fork (insert comment about your suspension fork)

Hello what?
-
• #15233
Yep, 28 front and rear. Although my girlfriend has just said she wants them.

When singular says clearance for 2.1 does that mean tyre and mud?
OR When pipedream says 2.3, is that tyre with EU dust clearance?
Neither. Both conform to the new USA truegravel™ clearance standard

They come in 33, 35 and 38 flavour. I’ve found with the Schwalbes they have fantastic grip off rd but the compound is so good they don’t feel at all slow on tarmac.
the ultra bites are a very similar tyre with just slightly higher knobs down the middle

That's a walk in the park compared to the field of doom.

Vittoria Terreno Wet would be overkill and too slow for anything but slick mud in cross course. I had them on my second set of wheels racing cross. This winter I ride Mix as my winter tire. Cross season got canceled here in Baltics and had them on second set of wheels. Gave it a try. Mix is good on road rides, great in snow and also quite good on chunky/snow packed ice too. On pure ice only studs and moving just forward works. 😀 Previous couple of winters I rode on X ones (regulars, not bites) and G one allround, conti cx speed. Also fine.

Aye that's on the list, and looks hopefully like it's available as a frameset (plus takes QR wheels, which is nice)

This is quite a useful list, though not that many available as frames / shimano equipped in the UK.
I don't understand trail or really anything to do with forks. I just read it somewhere so I defer to your trail expertise.
